Your story... what an splendid way to start your journey together.

Why...

I love photos...

I always have.

At least as far back as I can remember. It seems they are a magical place, or maybe remind me of a magical place or moment in time. Yeah, a great moment in time - there, right there in front of me... in my hands. I love the feel of prints, the smell, the touch of paper - it's like holding history or maybe just a small window of it.

I'm always enchanted by the stories they tell. What are they thinking? Where have they been, what triumphs and loss have they lived? It's like you have a moment together, for a split second a connection is made and you're apart of their world. A wonderful world. A world full of joy, laughter, trials and pain. Somehow the magic is in the connection, or maybe it's the power to connect.

I love the journey they take me on, the places we've been, the memories that reside there, in the paper. I guess I love the stories they tell.

Let me tell yours...

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge for wedding packages?

Wedding photography prices start at 3300 plus taxes (includes files). Full Album collections start at 5800. Custom tailor packages can be quoted to suit your needs.

Do we get the files and rights to the images?

Yes - all our pricing and packages include high resolution digital files so you can make unlimited prints at full resolution.

How long after the wedding does it take to receive our wedding pictures?

Typical turnaround time on digital products is usually within 2 weeks.  Albums take between 6-8 weeks to account for image selection, design, retouching, production and shipping.

How many images do we get in the end?

Typical 7 hour weddings will have around 700 images. More if reception coverage is added.

What if we cancel our wedding or change our date after we've signed the contract?

Wedding retainers are non-refundable as I've committed the date to you and have turned away other weddings for your day.  If you change your wedding date to another day I have open in the same calendar year, I'm happy to make the change for you at no charge.

Are formal family pictures included?

Yes. Family is always important and what better time then to take 20 minutes and get photos while everyone is looking their best.

How long do you stay at the reception?

I typically stay until 10:30 PM but am happy to stay longer for an additional fee. Additional hours are 250 plus tax.

Do you need a meal at the reception?

Yes please.  You can sit me wherever you like in the room and I'm not fussy, but I love food.

How long have you been photographing weddings?

I've been a full time wedding photographer since 1994 shooting film before it was the "hip thing to do".  I've photographed hundreds of weddings and have the experience to ensure your day is fantastic.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, I always shoot on professional equipment and have backups in case something goes wrong.

Do you travel to destination weddings?

My bags are packed...

How do we choose the location for our engagement session?

Select a location that has meaning to you or history. Like where you met or a favorite place or restaurant.  Or I always got some sweet locations up my sleeve.

I'd love to book you for our wedding, what next?

Let's get together and go over all the options available to you. We'll step you through the packages and contract. Booking requires a retainer for 1/3 of your decided package. Next 3 months prior to wedding and last 1/3 the week before.

“The photographer’s most important and likewise most difficult task is not learning to manage his camera, or to print. It is learning to see photographically... so that he can instantaneously translate the elements and values in a scene before him into the photograph he wants to make.
